Z Media is a student-teacher media studies organization composed of members of the Jefferson County community. Created in 2016 by students and teachers at duPont Manual High School, the organization focuses mainly on audio and film for the purpose of student growth, exploration, and expression.

In association with the Speed Art Museum, Z Media will host the first annual Festival Z. Jefferson County middle and high schoolers may submit a film or audio piece in a categorical competition.
